7 times out of 10 we listen to our music at night
The long weekend was one of much live music. I kicked this off with The Kooks at Brixton Academy on Friday night. The concert was pretty good but it was a bit shit a couple of the guys we went with couldn't manage to get down onto the standing area. Still, good music and beer made for a fun night. We followed this up by heading down to The Dogstar for some salsa music and general drunken revelry.
Saturday was spent primarily sleeping with a quick dash to the charity shop in the late afternoon in order to get costumes for that evenings planned activity. We had some tickets for a Mark Ronson / Annie Mac concert that night which was themed 'English Eccentricity'. This meant tweed. Lots of tweed. A tweed vest. A tweed jacket. Tweed pants. Turned out to be another cracking night on the terps with some people going to A LOT of effort to wear very English, and very sexy, outfits. The night ended up with a couple of the group putting very large traffic cones in the middle of London bridge and backing traffic up.

Very English, very sexy outfits - where are the photos? Actually probably better that you didn't. Were you involved in the traffic cone incident? Or is that another matter of the less said the better?
The question is - why were the tweed pants in the charity bin, rather than some person's wardrobe staple?
Strangely enough there are very few pictures (thankfully).
The expanse of tweed is now firmly entrenched in my wardrobe.
